Christine + Peter | Minimalist Wedding in San Fransisco
When Christine contacted me about her and Peter's wedding, she said they wanted an intimate wedding infused with simplicity and sustainability. Christine has an amazing blog called Snapshots of Simplicity which inspires and educates people on how to live a more sustainable, zero waste lifestyle. Their venue choice, The Alameda County Fairgrounds at Building Q, was the perfect backdrop for their minimalist taste and really allowed the focus to be on the two of them and sharing their union with friends and family. It was such a beautiful day and I was so happy to be a part of it.

C+C | Mediterranean Mountain Top
In August, I made the trip over to the Okanagan for Chelsea and Cameron's wedding celebration at God's Mountain Estate. I absolutely love the landscape of the Okanagan. The dry, open landscape reminds me of my time living in Southern California, so I was so excited to photograph another wedding there.
The morning began with dark skies, blustery winds and a downpour but thankfully the skies cleared and we had the most beautiful day to celebrate their union. Most of the guests, including the bride and groom, were coming from Vancouver and the venue definitely served as a destination wedding spot. Beautiful vineyards wrapped up and down the mountain side and a Mediterranean styled estate housed most of the guests. Flowers by Celsia Floral were brought in from Vancouver and they were beyond gorgeous. Alessia, from Little Lessy, designed all the paper goods and put together such a special al fresco dinner for everyone to enjoy.
This wedding was a true highlight of the summer for so many reasons. I love when I get to travel (for what doesn't even feel like work) while capturing such special events. Thank you C+C for bringing me along! You two and your families were so wonderful and full of joy, it was contagious. xo
the long table
One lone table filled with the ones you love most. Many more to come from this beautiful garden wedding.
