Remote Island Getaway with Rock Paper Square
Featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings
Always ready for an adventure, Rock Paper Square and I teamed up to create this fun outdoor, camping shoot inspired by the beauty of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We took real life (and in love!) couple, Jon and Shell, out to the remote Sidney Spit Island for a day of hiking, picnicking, music making and camping. The whole island was theirs for the day, to get lost in love and explore the beauty of nature and each other.
Yu Nong + Alex
Alex and Yu Nong made a trip around the world to get married at the beautiful Starling Lane Vineyard on Vancouver Island. The couple lives in Singapore but have close ties to the Pacific Northwest and loved the charm and scenery of the area. Their wedding day started with a traditional tea ceremony followed by their vow exchange in the middle of the rose garden.
Thanks to the full team of vendors for making this such a beautiful day and congratulations to Alex and Yu Nong!

Cara + Patrick
Cara and Patrick's beautiful Okanagan wedding was a pure delight to photograph. With their friends and closest families by their side, the two married by the beach. She was barefoot and he was rocking floral pants (amazing) and they celebrated the entire weekend. I loved the causal feel to their wedding, it allowed them and the guests to really focus on what was important.
I met Cara during a shoot I did earlier in the summer where she was the model. A true fashion lover, one would have thought that Cara would have been decked out in lots of jewelry, heels, the whole nine yards. But she was perfectly simplistic in a silk slip dress and a floral crown as her only accessory. I loved it. Her true beauty shined through. She was natural, she was herself, she was beautiful. And Patricks pants! I still can't get over how amazing they were.
All the best to these two love birds, thanks for having me capture your special day!
